Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik

Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik are domestic terrorists who committed a mass shooting at the San Bernardino Inland Regional Center on December 2, 2015. The attack killed 14 and injured 22. The husband and wife reportedly spent a year preparing for the attack, including target practice, getting an accomplice to purchase rifles, and leaving their daughter with a relative. Both Farook and Malik were killed in a shootout with police following the attack. Afterwards, ISIS claimed Farook and Malik as "supporters" but did not suggest that the attack had been directed by ISIS leadership.
