Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez

Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez (1990-2015) was an Islamist extremist who opened fire at two military sites in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 16, 2015, killing four Marines and a Navy sailor. Abdulazeez, a Kuwaiti-born U.S. national, is believed to have been motivated by radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Abdulazeez was killed in a gunfight with police officers responding to the shooting.
