Joey Gibson

Joey Gibson is founder of the group Patriot Prayer, a putatively religious far-right extremist group active in the Pacific Northwest that claims to promote free speech while agitating primarily against liberal and left-wing activists. Members are often involved in violent confrontations with left-wing protesters. Patriot Prayer often allies with the Proud Boys for event organization and participation. Gibson ran for Senate as a Republican in 2018 and was defeated in the primary, earning only 2.3 percent of votes.
