Anwar al Awlaki

Anwar al Awlaki was a Yemeni-American imam who served as a prominent recruiter for Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. His lectured inspired many of the worst domestic Islamist terrorist attacks, including Nidal Hasan's attack on Fort Hood, and the Garland, TX shooting. He was killed in 2011 by a U.S. drone strike in Yemen.
