Anjem Choudary

Anjem Choudary is a British Islamist activist who founded a number of Salafist institutions and openly supported ISIS's activities. He has influenced radical individuals throughout Europe and America. In 2016, he was convicted in the UK undersection 12 of the Terrorist Act of 2000 and was sentenced to five and a half years in prison. He was released in October 2018 but banned from using social media until July 2021.
