Abdul Razak Ali Artan

Abdul Razak Ali Artan was one of the perpetrators of the November 28, 2016, terrorist attack at the Ohio State University. Artan reportedly called the school to warn of a gas leak in one of the labs, and when students and staff were evacuated, he drove a Honda Civic into the crowd, deliberately striking pedestrians. After crashing into a wall, Artan got out of the car and began to slash at the crowd with a butcher's knife. Artan was shot and killed by an Ohio State University police officer. He was inspired by both ISIS propaganda and the sermons of radical imam Anwar al Awlaki. ISIS's Amaq News Agency claimed credit for inspiring the attack the next day.
