19th President

After Joe Biden was inaugurated as president in January 2021, some QAnon followers promoted the idea that Donald Trump would be inaugurated once again as the 19th president of the United States on March 4. The idea of Trump beoming the 19th president (in 2017 he actually became the 45th president) is rooted in an old sovereign citizen conspiracy theory ' when the 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, it quietly converted 'sovereign' citizens into 'federal' (or U.S.) citizens. After this, sovereigns argue, the federal government was illegitimate.
