There's Q and there's anons is a phrase used by QAnon followers to distance themselves from what they believe is the media-concocted version of their movement, while still believing in Q themselves. The concept is derived from posts by Q instructing followers to use "camouflage" to avoid media and public scrutiny; the term "QAnon" has been part of the QAnon community since it first emerged in 2017, and Q has used the term in countless drops.
