Stand back and stand by

"Stand back and stand by" was a phrase said by former President Donald Trump during a 2020 debate with then-candidate Joe Biden when asked to condemn the Proud Boys. The phrase was interpreted by the group as an expression of support by President Trump and has since been used as a rallying cry.
