Plandemic
“Plandemic” is a popular conspiratorial term used by some conspiracy theorists, extremists and anti-vaccine activists to describe their belief that the COVID-19 pandemic was deliberately “planned” and “orchestrated” by global elites and the government as a ruse to enslave humanity and “steal” the 2020 presidential election.
The term has also been used in reference to conspiratorial beliefs that global elites and the government are continuing to plot future pandemics, and that future disease outbreaks will be the result of such nefarious activity.
“Plandemic” may also refer to a trilogy of conspiratorial films produced by Mikki Willis that promote misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines.
