Patriot Prayer

Patriot Prayer is a putatively religious far-right group claiming to promote free speech while primarily agitating against left-wing/progressive activists. Members are often involved in confrontations with left-wing protesters. The group was founded by Joey Gibson and is most active in the Pacific Northwest. Patriot Prayer often allies with the Proud Boys for event organization and participation. Founder Joey Gibson ran for Senate as a Republican in 2018 and was defeated in the primary, earning only 2.3 percent of votes. Gibson was indicted on felony riot charges for his participation in a riot between Patriot Prayer and antifa adherents in May 2019.
