The New Black Panther Party for Self Defense (NBPP)

Founded in 1991, the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense (NBPP) is the most extreme organized racist and antisemitic African American group in the United States. The militant organization is known for inflammatory statements about the Asian community, Jews, police and white people, as well as calls for violence that contradict any efforts to be a responsible voice on legitimate social ills. Its symbol consists of a leaping panther (an image appropriated from the original Black Panthers) superimposed over the continent of Africa.
