Masar Badil

Masar Badil, also known as the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, is an extreme anti-Zionist international organization that officially launched in November 2021, describing itself as a “radical popular political movement established by Palestinian, Arab and international will ... and a popular resistance movement confronting Zionist colonialism.” The group has hosted webinars with Hamas members including Basem Naim, Osama Hamdan and Ghazi Hamad. In September 2024, Masar Badil hosted a virtual live interview with Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, and Charlotte Kates, the international coordinator of Samidoun, an extreme anti-Zionist organization formally designated by the U.S. and Canada as the fundraising arm of the U.S.-designated terror group the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

Masar Badil also separately hosted a webinar with a member of the Houthis, a U.S.-designated terror group in Yemen backed by the Iranian regime.

Masar Badil frequently coordinates with Samidoun, co-hosting events and sharing social media announcements. Both groups also share at least one leader in common, Khaled Barakat, who is sanctioned by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) as a Specially Designated National (SDN) for having acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, the PFLP. Other members of Masar Badil’s executive committee include Jaldia Abubakra, a Samidoun activist located in Spain, and Mohammed Khatib, the Belgium-based Europe coordinator of Samidoun.
