Michigan Militia

The Michigan Militia was one of the earliest and largest militia groups, formed in 1994 by gun store owner Norman Olson. Olson was ousted the following year after making outlandish conspiratorial claims about the Oklahoma City bombing. In later years, the Michigan Militia factionalized into several competing groups.
