Oath Keepers USA

Founded in 2023, Oath Keepers USA is an offshoot of the Oath Keepers, a right-wing anti-government extremist group within the militia movement. The organization was formed by remaining members of the Oath Keepers’ Board of Directors and state leaders under the direction of Bobby Kinch, a retired detective who served as the Oath Keepers’ former president and Utah state leader.

While Oath Keepers USA claims it is a “distinct and separate legal entity” from the original group, it seeks to continue the original Oath Keepers’ mission. Although Kinch claims Oath Keepers USA is not a militia, he admits they conduct firearms and medical training. The group has engaged in limited public activity since its creation.
