Martial Law

The imposition of martial law by the government is a part of one of the most prominent conspiracy theories within the militia movement. The conspiracy says that a real or staged pandemic, natural disaster or terrorist attack will give the government an excuse to impose martial law and suspend the Constitution, resulting in (but not limited to) door to door gun confiscation, the ban of interstate travel and detainment of citizens in concentration camps.
