Boogaloo movement

The Boogaloo movement formed in 2019 based around the term "boogaloo", a slang reference to a future civil war that boogalooers anticipate (some eagerly). While there are ideological differences among members, the movement is primarily anti-government, anti-gun control and anti-police. The movement began online, but members have also attended a variety of protests around gun legislation, COVID health and safety measures and policing. Members have also engaged in a range of criminal behavior, including violent plots and murder.
