Timothy McVeigh

Timothy McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist who detonated a truck bomb in front of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. The blast destroyed the building, killing 168 men, women and children and injuring hundreds more, resulting in the worst act of domestic terrorism in United States history. He was executed by lethal injection in June 2001.
