Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

The Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, also known as the Tree of Life shooting, took place on October 27, 2018, when white supremacist Robert Gregory Bowers opened fire inside the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, killing 11 people and wounding seven more. Bowers appears to have been motivated by antisemitic and anti-immigrant convictions.
