Pentti Linkola

Pentti Linkola was a Finnish deep ecologist and environmentalist, whose philosophy is consistent with ecofascist ideology. Linkola"s writings were often published by Arktos Media, which features white supremacist literature in an academic format, and are still shared widely across ecofascist Telegram channels. Linkola"s most influential ideas in line with ecofascism were related to his views on overpopulation and the immigration and humanitarian crises. His "lifeboat theory" is a central belief that claims the threats of overpopulation are so dire that large parts of the population need to be sacrificed to ensure the planet"s survival.
