Michael Hill

J. Michael Hill (b. 1951) founded the League of the South (LoS) in 1994. Hill established the LoS to advocate for modern-day southern secession and an independent southern nation dominated by "Anglo-Celtic culture," — a thinly-veiled code for "whites." However, since 2008, Hill has outed himself as a hardcore white supremacist and taken the LoS in an increasingly radical direction. Hill is a former history professor at Stillman College, a historically black college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
