John Earnest

John Earnest is a white supremacist who killed one person and injured three others after shooting inside a Chabad in Poway, California in 2019. Prior to the attack he posted an online manifesto in which he repeated a laundry list of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including the longstanding white supremacist assertion that Jews are responsible for non-white immigration, which "threatens" the white race. Earnest claimed in the manifesto that he had set fire to a mosque in Escondido several weeks before the attack on the synagogue. In September 2021, Earnest was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
