Brandon Russell

Brandon Russell is a founding member of the neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen. Russell was arrested after officers found explosives in his apartment while investigating the death of two of his roommates at the hands of a fourth roommate. Prosecutors claimed that Russell planned to use the explosives to attack civilians, nuclear facilities and synagogues. He pleaded guilty in January 2018 to possessing an unregistered destructive device and unlawful storage of explosive materials. In August 2021, he was released from prison.
