The American Futurist
The American Futurist is an online accelerationist media platform run primarily by several former members of Atomwaffen Division, a now-defunct neo-Nazi accelerationist group. Founded in 2020, The American Futurist seeks to promote and spread white supremacist and violent accelerationist ideology through the dissemination of books, articles and other forms of media in line with their worldview. The American Futurist has hosted content produced by known former Atomwaffen Division members, including Brandon Russell, who was arrested in early 2023 for allegedly plotting to attack critical energy infrastructure. The platform provides readers with semi-regular articles, a library of extremist reading material and guides for on-the-ground tactics and “activism.”
