Alt right

The alt right (short for alternative right), is a loose movement that arose in the 2010s and by 2015 had become an important new segment of the white supremacist movement, bringing thousands of young, newly-radicalized white men into the fold. The more politically-oriented alt right adherents have typically sought to legitimize and expand racist and antisemitic views within the American right. The alt right is also partially based on a subculture heavily influenced by imageboard websites such as 4chan and 8chan.
